Help with maintenance disket *SOLVED*

Hi there i had to change my system board and no there is no info in system unit serial number.. have the 1.69 diskette but not sure how to enter my serial number..
can anyone please advice me :cry[/b]

what kind of system do you have? You will have to boot the system with your floppy and there will be a screen to tell you how to do that.

If your system is a newer model, you may not use the v1.69 HMD disk.

I have R40 2722-BDG and i have the HMM 1.69 diskette ..but i wonder what order and what number i shall put there..
my number is 2722 BDG ** *****

Case solved..
Had to boot up another TP and checked the system serial nr.. it had 1S at the start of the serial number..
So i just took choice "add new number" and wrote 1S2722BDG and serial and viola... the serial number is finally right again
