Recomended Registry Cleaners?
Hey guys, I was wandering if you could recommend some registry cleaners as I think cleaning this up might be helpful. My machine after just regular maintenace (desktop machine) is getting a bit slow. Thanks for any suggestions.
I don't know about freeware ones, but jdhurst recommended Registry first Aid in the following thread

Re: Recomended Registry Cleaners?
I'm currently using Registry Mechanic. Quite good I would say....with user friendly interface and really did what it says.Dead1nside wrote:Hey guys, I was wandering if you could recommend some registry cleaners as I think cleaning this up might be helpful. CCleaner is what I use and it does a pretty good job of it.
At some point, I will try to get copies of the other registry cleaners and compare them.

She does the things you do.
But she is an IBM.

RegSeeker IMO is the most thorough freeware registry cleaner.

i like ccleaner as well. i used to use registry mechanic, but at some point i found out it just wasnt doing anything helpful. it seems to me like ccleaner actually does something- i run the [censored] thing 5 times a day.
