Buffalo RAM recommended?

I don't find much about memory from Buffalo here on the forum(s). Would you say it's on par with the "big players" like Crucial et al? I'm happy with Crucial so far, it's just that my favourite shop doesn't carry 1 GB-pieces from them right now.

OCZ is good too, technically one of the "big" players (they make lots of high end memory), but they sell their RAM for really good prices.

Thanks, the shop has OCZ-RAM for a reasonable price. I just wanted to make sure not to call for trouble when upgrading.

We buy buffalo to max out the ram on our network print systems KyoceraUSA , the biggest sticks we buy are 512 and down, relative to what the machine will take. The failure rate is low for this type of application but it does happen. I would not use buffalo for my personal computers.

You never know with RAM. Sometimes the sticks dont play well together. When I got my T60, it had a Micron stick that was defective, that is it wouldnt work with any other memory. I had Lenovo replace it, and they sent me a Samsung stick, which is now happily running next to my OCZ PC5400 (yeah, its PC5400, not 5300, but it doesnt seem to cause any problems, just means that it theoretically could be overclocked).
