Is it even possible?! - Away Manager

#1 Post by jamess » Wed Aug 16, 2006 11:32 am

Is it possible to add xy tasks to Away Manager? I only have 3 available but would like to add some extra system optimizer programs. I prefer Away Manager to Task Scheduler (win xp) because i can leave my PC running and tasks are completed, whereas Task Scheduler, if computer is off at the time schedualed - no tasks are completed. Any advice on this would be much appreciated!

Cheers

Yeah, it is possible; yet it is pretty advanced for most users. It was designed to be used in a corporate setting with the ITs and ops managing the *.inis and internals of the program and replicating it on a bunch of systems.

IBM/Lenovo has some good documentation in PDF format on their website about it; I remember this since that is what I used to configure it. :)

I met someone who looks a lot like you.
She does the things you do.
But she is an IBM.
