[Wish] Light Sensor PC card

#1 Post by kstuart » Mon Aug 28, 2006 3:04 pm

Hello,

Although Thinkpads adjust the LCD brightness depending on the power mode (battery vs AC), i'm still constantly having to adjuat the brightness due to varying ambient light conditions.

HP, Dell, Apple, and Acer laptops all offer ambient light sensors to adjust the LCD brightness automatically.

All my Thinkpads have an open PC card slot, it would be nice if someone offered an ambient light sensor in a PC card...

I had a powerbook with the ambient light control. HOLY FREAKING WOW WHAT A RETARDED FEATURE.

I wanted to slam my laptop against the wall everytime it did that till I found the option to turn it off.
I refuse to tip toe through life, only to arrive safely at my death
