does the fingerprint reader works in Internet Explore 7!? i just spent alot of time switching back to CSS 6 from CSS 7 because CSS 7 took so long for the finger print authentication to come up. need to know if the old CSS works with internet explore 7!? if not i'll just stick with internet explore 6

If you just want to do fingerprint logon, you don't need CSS at all, just the current version of the fingerprint reader software.

Fingerprint Reader and IE 7

#3 Post by Yosemite » Mon Nov 27, 2006 8:23 pm

It seems that IE 7 does not support the fingerprint reader. I looked over the IE 7 support page and most of the posts complain that it doesn't even work with MS fingerprint - there is a work around that for MS fingerprint readers, but I didn't see anything about Thinkpad machines. I reverted back to IE 6 and the reader works like it used to.
