IBM software installer doesn't work with FIPS mode enabled.

Pretty annoying.

If, in an effort to lock down your computer you have set the following registry key value to 1 -

HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa fipsalgorithmpolicy 0x00000001

the IBM/Lenovo installer will time out on you. How can they not support strong crypto for SSL? They really need to fix this.
