Bluetooth/ActiveSync Errors

#1 Post by RMForlenza » Mon Sep 18, 2006 8:04 am

I have my T60p docked 75% of the time with my SmartPhone and PDA syncing through USB via Microsoft ActiveSync. I also have ActiveSync configured to work over Bluetooth when not docked. I would like to turn all my wireless radios (WAN, WLAN & Bluetooth) off when docked. Unfortunately, when the Bluetooth radio is turned off I receive port not found errors during start-up from ActiveSync, which then wants to delete the missing port.

Isn't there a way to set a virtual port that the PC wil believe is present whether the Bluetooth radio is on or off?

Microsoft claims that this is an IBM/Lenovo implementation issue. Does anyone have suggestions?

Also, does everyone else have the Bluetooth Device control under tools in AccessConnections 4.12 greyed out?
