Ultrabay Enahnced for external drive

#1 Post by tslusarczyk » Fri Sep 22, 2006 10:23 pm

Hey Guys
Anyone know if there is a way to make an Ultrabay Enhanced drive into an external drive using an external case. I can't seem to find any info about it. Are there any adaptors or cases for the Enhanced drive?
Cheers

You mean using an external drive with the connector that goes inside the laptop??

There's no use in that. Buy a USB case, then put the 2nd HDD on it and there you go.

Yeah what I wanna do is find the cheapest solution to be able to use my ultrabay enhanced dvd burner as an usb external burner. I'm looking for a case or just an adaptor that can work besides the ultrabay 2000 portable with the 2000 adaptor for the enhanced drive (by the time I buy it and postage to Australia I might aswell buy a whole complete package) Any ideas???
