Thinkpad New Mail Sound?

#1 Post by primedude » Tue Sep 26, 2006 10:50 pm

When I received my T42 two years ago, the default Windows installation included a distinctive "new mail" sound. It was a two-tone chime, repeated twice (I think that's the best way to describe it, anyway.) Anyway, I recently fell victim to R&R 3.1, and I had to reinstall my system from a non-IBM Windows XP disk. Needless to say, I lost that sound.

1. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?
2. If so, could someone please send me that sound file?

Thanks so much in advance.

Your looking for one of the Active Think type themes. The forum FAQ lists a couple of sources, but I think what you want can be found here. ;)
