External Enclosures too thin

#1 Post by fcampbel » Sun Oct 01, 2006 5:42 pm

I am trying to find an external HD enclosure to fit a 2.5inch HD from my old A21p. When I bought the T42p, I did not know that the HDs had shrunk. I bought an enclosure at the same time, expecting to be able to put the old HD in it. It did not fit. All of the enclosures I find on the internet say that are for drives that are 9.5mm in height. This HD appears to be just under 15mm in height. I removed the electronics from the case and plugged the HD into it and it worked. I considered trying to cut the case to fit the drive, (the back of the drive would have been exposed) but I'd rather find an enclosure that will hold the drive.

Does anyone know of a brand and model that will work?
