How can I change the Trackpoint orientation?

I recently noticed that the newest display drivers for my X40 allow the display to be rotated, so I can turn the laptop sideways and hold it in my lap like a book. (Very handy for buses and airplanes when the person in front of you has pushed their seat all the way back!)

However, it's nearly impossible to control the mouse arrow, because the Trackpoint still works the same way--which means pushing it to the left causes the arrow to go up, pushing to the right causes it to go down, etc.

How can I change the orientation of the Trackpoint to fix this?

(Ah, how I wish I had an X-series tablet. )
