Glass windows and WLAN range

#1 Post by Deckard » Thu Oct 12, 2006 6:25 am

I wasn't sure where to post this, but I think it's more suitable in the General discussion.

We are planning to divide our small office with glass separators and I was wondering if glass has any negative effect on the range of WLANs.

Any feedback is appreciated.

Glass will degrade the signal somewhat. Try to place the access point as high as possible.
