CD/DVD Burner to CD/DVD Burner DL

Hi

I have in my T43 CD/DVD Burner..but it's not support DL..on website I found firmware to UJ-842s for Sony Vaio..
Did anyone try to load other firmware to UJ-822 :?:
I know that some DVD burners after installing firmware have extra functions like LiteOn 822 :)
