DVD GCC 4160N doesnt read some DVDs

Hi

After my DVD player stopped functioning properly I bought a used one from a friend - a GCC 4160N. The thing works fine, but does not read some DVDs at all. I suppose it needs an updated driver. Does anyone know what the deal is and if indeed it is the case that I need a driver, where I can get it from.
