I want my R&R files back

After my T30 HD squeeked to death, I re-installed the OS and Appls and was ready to restore my data files from my R&R backups on a USB drive. After install of the current R&R, I turned pale as it didn't see a single backup on the drive.

The RRBACKUP and files are hidden but there. Must be that R&R level difference I have read about. Is there any program that would let me read them back? I have no idea what level of R&R I was running before.
