Best 12.7 mm drive

#1 Post by dfumento » Wed Nov 22, 2006 1:55 pm

I checked with a company that sold lots of drives and they said this one had the lowest error rate and was the best. I think this might be the drive that Apple uses...

The 'T' series takes the thinner 9.x mm drive, but I think the other series takes this drive. I use it with an enclosure for my X60s.

Panasonic UJ-85J is a front slot loader.

Some of the T-series systems take the thinner (9.5mm) Ultrabay devices (normally called Ultrabay Slim). See this chart for more information about Ultrabay devices.
