Thinklight control via software from Windows

#1 Post by Terrahawk » Mon Nov 27, 2006 11:55 pm

Is there any way to control the ThinkLight via software from Windows? I know that you can do it from linux but I just want to check whether the ThinkLight on my newly recovered X20 works. I can't use the Fn+PgUp combo because the Fn key does not work.

Thanks,
Geoff.

Presentation Manager does it

Certainly possible since the Presentation Manager does it. One of the options under Fn + F7 controls whether the light is on or off for a profile.

Thanks for the tip. I made a new display profile with the ThinkLight on, and it works fine.
