Built-in Bluetooth & USB Device Not Recognized

#1 Post by krazykritter » Tue Dec 05, 2006 2:04 pm

I've had this problem off and on and never seem to completely resolve the underlying issue.

From time to time, the bluetooth will suddenly stop working and it will pop up with a USB Device Not Recognized message in the systray. Usually disabling the BT from Fn+F5 and re-enabling will resolve the problem. When it does not rebooting will. When the BT adapter is installed and working properly I've deleted it and renamed all the BT drivers and let Windows reinstall it only for the problem to return eventually.

Currently running XP SP2. I really don't want to use the Widcomm drivers but I've run out of ideas on what else to try.
