battery meter

#1 Post by toomak » Wed Dec 13, 2006 1:51 pm

Can anyone please remind where I can set the meter to display percentage instead of minutes?

Thanks!

Hmmm . . . mine doesn't have 'Show'. (Battery MaxiMiser 1.38 ) All I've got when I left click is:

- four power schemes
-----------------------
- more schemes
- view scheme settings
-----------------------
- graphic device power management
-----------------------
- remove and replace battery
-----------------------
- improve battery health
-----------------------
- text size
-----------------------
- launch battery maximiser wizard
- battery information

Do you have a different version? I wouldn't mind seeing the minutes rather than percent remaining

At first you said you wanted to see percent remaining, now you want time remaining...

The time remaining only works in Power Manager. Run software update and see if it's one of the options.

Ummm . . . that was toomak. I'm not toomak

I'll try the Power Manager route.

Hi. I have an OT Question
Recently i saw my mate's A20 has a battery meter at the right bottom coner, which is green , showing %centage of battery remaining, seems to be official IBM/Lenovo plugin

Is it also available for X21 also? If yes, where may i grab it? THanks everyone
Current System:
IBM Lenovo T60-2007-CB7

Previous System:
IBM Lenovo T43-1871-F1G

Netbook:
IBM X21-2662-64T (Previously X20-2662-36H)

That would be the Battery MaxiMiser and Power Management Features, version 1.38. This is the same version that I have on my T42. It may not behave exactly the same way on your X21 though. Give it a try. Once installed, launch the Battery MaxiMiser Wizard from Start > All Programs > Access IBM > Battery MaxiMiser Wizard, and in Step 3 check box to Show Battery MaxiMiser Gauge on Taskbar.

Software and Device Drivers - ThinkPad X20, X21, X22, X23, X24

EDIT: If you need to install the program, be sure and read all the installation instructions carefully. You may need to install other software packages as well.
