Cingular GSM card makes mouse move aimlessly

#1 Post by dsigma6 » Thu Dec 14, 2006 2:54 pm

I have installed a Cingular 3G LaptopConnect Card on the X22. When the Cingular Communication Manager opens, there is no problem.

When the pcmcia card is inserted, there is no problem.
As soon as I connect, the mouse moves in circles on its own, always towards the top left corner. When you try to move it, it freaks out!

I am one step from hitting the card with a hammer...anyone have a clue?

The card is an Option GT MAX.

I found a post on another forum, and a guy with a T43 had the same problem. No solution was posted.

Possibly an interrupt conflict? Disable the tracking point in the bios to find out.
