2GB DIMMs

#1 Post by RUSH2112 » Tue Dec 19, 2006 11:38 pm

Where exactly can we buy 2GB DIMMs? I was thinking of upgrading my tp to 3GB if theyre not too pricey. Newegg still doesnt have them, but theres got to be somewhere to buy them.

They are extremely pricey. A PC2-4200 stick is for sale here. Lenovo also has PC2-4200 ones, but they are twice as expensive. I have not seen PC2-5300 ones though.

UPDATE: Found a 2GB PC2-5300 SODIMM on shop.kingston.com, which will be available at the end of January 2007 and is currently 25% off for $614 only! What a bargain!
