Swapping DVD drives between Thinkpads--how difficult?

Hi all, I'm about to sell my Z60t and get a T60 instead. The T60 will run rings around it in every way but one: the configuration I'm getting will not have a DVD burner, while my z60t does (and with the deal I'm getting I cannot customize).

So I will want to swap the drives and put my z60t disc drive in my T60 and vice versa. How difficult is this to do? Are there any problems I might encounter while doing it? I'm not a computer guru, but I'm better than average. Will there be any driver/compatibility issues? And lastly, will this void the warranty?

Glad to hear it'll be easy; but I still don't know HOW to do it. Is there some kind of tutorial online that'll show me how?

I believe it should be the same as on my T42. If the ThinkPad is turned on, you should stop the device first by either using the Windows Safely Remove Hardware icon in the notification area, or by pressing Fn + F9 to bring up the EasyEject Utility.

Once the device is stopped or the ThinkPad is turned off, just to the right of the eject button, and slightly lower is a small slide lever. Slide the lever to the right and a T-shaped lever will pop out. Pull the T-shaped lever out about another 1/2" to bring the drive out far enough so that you can grab it. Once the drive is removed, push the T-shaped lever back in. Note that the T-shaped lever only comes out about an inch maximum.
