Lost T60 Docking Station Keys

A new colleague lost both of the keys to his docking station on his 2nd day with the company. The laptop is now locked to the docking station permanently. We tried other keys from other docks thinking that it would be a generic key, but no dice. Does anyone have suggestions? Are there x different keys and we just chose the wrong ones? This guy's about to pick the lock and probably forever damage the dock, so I need to act quickly. Many thanks.

I had to get new keys a couple of years ago for a T40 dock and, after much digging on the IBM support site, found a company that will provide replacement keys. You have to give them a code number from the bottom of the dock.

I'd suggest calling IBM support in Atlanta to see if they will tell you the name of the company. As I said, it's on their web site somewhere but it's not easy to find

For a MiniDock II, the key code is on sticker, which is right at the bottom corner near the lock. It's a 4 character code.
