Symantec HTTP proxy and wireless internet - issues

#1 Post by gator » Mon Jan 29, 2007 10:30 pm

I have had lots of trouble with the Intel3945 abg card and I recently made a post in the T60 forum about my troubles. I do not want to make a repeat post here, so please see the following post for details:
http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?p=245177

Today, comparing the task manager when I can and cannot connect, I found out that the symantec HTTP proxy service (ccProxy.exe) is not running when I have trouble connecting to the internet. As I described in my post, I can always connect to yahoo messenger, but the browser will not open any page ( I have no idea why this happens)

How can I make sure that the ccproxy service is always running?
Now: T60 2613-EKU | T23 2647-9NU | 600X 2645-9FU | HP 100LX
Past: X31 2673-Y13 | T41 2374-3HU | T22 2647-AEU

Rules of the road :thumbs-UP:

I replied in your original thread. The solution is easy and near.
