LCD Brightness settings

#1 Post by Kyocera » Mon Feb 19, 2007 9:35 am

Both my T60 and R52 do this:

when I come out of hibernation >open laptop>press on button
they come on at the lowest LCD brightness level, I have checked LCD in thinkpad cofig for "brightest setting when on batteries" and also have checked power manager global settings and windows power settings. I used to have NHC running but have uninstalled it thinking it might be the culprit but no luck.

Thanks.

So you definitely have brightness on level 7, or something comparable?

danO, yes, but I got to thinking as to why both were doing it and it turned out to be because i had used presentation director at work to give some classes with a projector. For some reason it changed the power settings, all is normal now, thanks.
