Anybody use one of these - Kensington power adapter 33197?

I just got one off ebay for $22.99. I hope this isn't one of those " you get what you pay for " situations. :roll:

If one of the tips is 3.5mm OD and 2.5mm ID and provides 16V, center positive, then I believe it can be used on any system that takes the yellow plug (your T41?). It looks like the N2 tip is what you need by looking at this site.

Search the archives by using "kensington power" and you should find a couple of threads that discuss the Kensington adapater (but maybe not your particular version). Here's a couple at random:

Thanks. Those threads were helpful. The one I purchased is supposed to come with the N2 tip recommended for the T41.

It is mostly for when I travel so I can use the dc power. I'll use the IBM charger for every other application.
