Question reg. ultranav keyboard

I have three questions regarding ultranav keyboards:

1. If I get a used one, will it work on my T60? In other words, are there any restrictions as to what model ultranav keyboards will work with what model thinkpads?

2. Will I need to install any s/w for using the speical keys (Fn combinations , Access IBM button etc) if I get such a keyboard, or will it be just recognized?

3. Does the part number 89P8763 correspond to a british version of the ultranav keyboard?

If anyone knows (esp. question 3) please let me know - I have a nice offer on this one.

Yes, it'll work on a T60. It'll even work on any generic Windows PC. All you need is the same Lenovo software as you already have on your T60 -- no need to add anything additional.

Based on the photos on eBay, it is indeed the UK English layout.

Are you planning to switch from Model M to Ultranav?

gator, I have one that I use specifically for my desktop, I just put the ultra nav in my lap, they are not bad, I really like having the touch pad and track point to use with the desktop, tom exactly right you just need to download the ultra nav software and that is it.
