UltraNav scrolling

#1 Post by murray1 » Sun Mar 11, 2007 3:15 pm

When I acquired my T40 a few months ago I was shown that you can set and use the ultranav for scrolling by applying the setting and then running your finger along right side of the ultranav.

At first I didn't really care but now I wanted to use it because I am reading many long documents in which scrolling would be very handy.

So I went to turn the scrolling on but it won't let me. I click in the empty box to select scrolling and it kind of highlights the box but won't leave a check mark. If I press apply afterward it doesn't work so what I am wondering is,

Has this happened to anyone else and/or does anyone know how to fix this.

No ideas? I find this very weird because it did work and nothing else has changed. All the other functions of the ultranav work fine and it is only the scrolling that I cannot change when in the properties.

If you installed any other mice or trackballs, their driver might be messing you up. Try uninstalling the UltraNav driver and UltraNav Wizard, and any other mice or trackball drivers. Reboot, then reinstall the UltraNav driver and UltraNav Wizard. You should be able to use Software Installer for this.
