Strange battery problem
Posted: Tue Mar 20, 2007 1:29 am
Dear all:
I am using IBM laptop X41.
Today I found my battery unable to be charged ( ie, no orange lights upon installation of battery ), but the notebook is capable to detect the battery, and realizes its capacity now 33%.
But when I remove the adaptor and hope to use the battery, the laptop was forced down immediately ( as if there's no battery ).
When I checked the battery information utility, it shows that the STATUS is "NO ACTIVITY". ( while it should be "CHARGING" normally ).
I bought this battery in sept 2005 and has less than 30 charge cycles, is it dead?Could it be fixed?
attached the battery information screen cap link, please help! thanks!

[Moderator edit: No its not, please read the ThinkPad.com posting rules re images and the display rules for the web site you were trying to link]
HI moderator: what method could I show the pic out then? isn't that screenshots are usually the clearest way to show a problem?
