OK, so I know that I need a different plug to plug in my AC Adapter, and I have that taken care of - and I also know that I need a Voltage Converter so I don't fry anything...does anyone have any experience with a converter that I can get - here in the states by Monday?

Will that work? And if it powers my laptop - will it also power my external HDD, camera charger, etc...right?

you won't need a voltage converter - thinkpad's AC adapters are multi-voltage, as the same ones are distributed worldwide. all you'll need is a plug adapter, which you can buy at any store or the airport.

The Thinkpad AC adapter is indeed multi-voltage. For the other accessories - it depends. On every adapter you should see the range of acceptable input voltages, and that should tell you whether you need a converter or not.

O/P: DC 12V, 2A

As long as the range is between 120-240V on any adapter, all you need is a plug converter and NOT a transformer.

Welcome to Prague Electricity here is 230V / 50Hz so most of new AC adapters should work. I'd recommend to buy a Kensington notebook lock first when going here

As others have said your laptop will work here just fine. I bought my T60 in the US and use it here
