Built-in camera slow? (Z61m)

#1 Post by ZeroPlay » Thu May 10, 2007 3:32 am

[also posted in Z-series forum]

When I use the Windows XP Camera Wizard to capture images from the built-in camera, the animation is extremely slow. Even very slow movements (e.g. slowly waving hand past camera) results in a blur on the image.

Is this normal? Is there a way to improve it?

Thanks.

I think you would get more possible replies if you posted this on the Z forums.

Edit: Oh you already did.

As I wrote in the first line of my post, I have posted this question to the the Z-series forums.

The camera is common to other models with the 15.4" 1680x1050 display (e.g. Lenovo N100), so I cross-posted here too.

I've managed to answer my own question.

Video captured with the camera in low lighting conditions needs a longer exposure time for each frame, so the number of frames per second is reduced.
