Has anyone gotten Sony USB Skype Mouse VN-CX1 to work?

Has anyone tried connecting the VN-CX1 usb mouse/VoIP phone to their laptop? It's a mouse that's also a phone, and on my t41, mine's working as a mouse but not as a phone. With my VN-CX1 driver running, opening the mouse opens skype, and closing it closes skype, but the speaker and mic on the mouse don't work.

I'm thinking it may be a Thinkpad issue because we have the integrated microphone, which I guess may be stealing the audio control from the mouse.

I think that you ought to try to czange device of recording in control panel to your mouse. How about this?
IBM ThinkPad X61 Core 2 Duo T7300 2.0GHz, 2 GB DDR, HDD 80 GB 5400 RPM | On desk connected to Ultrabase X6, External HDD 1TB and 19" Samsung SyncMaster 940BW
