Recovering certain files from a backup image?

#1 Post by marlinspike » Thu May 17, 2007 5:28 pm

I ended up having to do a clean install to get Vista to work. Before upgrading to Vista I had made a backup to a USB drive using rescue and recovery. Is there a way to get just some of the files off from that backup image (I just want my documents my pictures and my music).
Thanks,
Richard

Yes.
Run RnR and take the option to restore individual files from the backup.
You will be presented with an explorer type display and select which folders you wish to restore.
