IBM/Lenovo battery test???

#1 Post by Reo51St » Fri May 18, 2007 10:41 am

Is there a standard test for IBM/Lenovo batteries? In particular “T”series batteries.

Is there an OEM test that we as end users can use?

Thanks for any help.

Bundled test should be PC Doctor, there are 2 versions I believe. One is PC Doctor 5 (Windows) and another is for Dos which you can download here for the T43/p, rest of the T4x series, and T6x.

However, you will need a floppy drive and some diskettes for this. Not sure if there is a CD version of it. Never tried the DOS version and the Windows version test for batteries will only take a few seconds.

What in particular are you looking to test out? I use the gauge reset of Power Manager to do a drain test if that's what you are looking for.
