Password Manager on specific sites only

#1 Post by kay.one » Wed Jun 13, 2007 12:52 am

Hi,

I have T60 with vista installed on it,
I love the idea of being able to enter my uber secure logins using my fingerprint suck as banks and other passwords that actually matter

I use Firefox and the password manager thing is getting a bit annoying, it even asks me to remember stuff when i try to search on amazon. is there anyway that you could make it remember the info when you specifically tell it to?? i tried to disable the Firefox detection and using the "Type and transfer tool" but i wasn't able to get it to work.

any ideas? how do you guys use your password manager, do you have it set to ask you on every form??

thinkpad security manager is more of an afterthought than a real piece of software in terms of usability, especially because of the reason you mention (asking to save login when you are not trying to login anywhere) and not realizing www.mysite.com is the same as mysite.com

i'd been happy using keepass and I wish TPM operated more like it.
