Since there is a linux live CD that is to modify the Atheros EEPROM so that the card correctly identifies itself as an "other" instead of an "ethernet" network adapter, is there any linux live CD to modify the PCI-ID of the wlan card?
I find a manual way here (http://www.dagarlas.org/stuff/computing/article0001.php), but it's too hard for a non-programmer. I was wondering whether there is an automated solution like linux live CD.
