Can anyone recommend a decent sound card that will fit correctly into a Dock II attached to my T43? I've seen numerous recommendations for video cards, but haven't found any for sound cards.
Thanks.

i would think any sound card would fit well. I Video cards are more tricky since they have heatsinks and the like that are huge on some of them and might not fit. Sound cards are for the most part thin and doesn't take up much space. Oh the other hand, you could also buy a PCMCIA card for your slot and stick it in there. The Creative Audigy 2ZS should do nicely.
AS far as i know the dock2 can fit PCMCIA cards right?

I'm using a Chaintech AV-710 in mine. Fits with no problems.

Thanks for these suggestions. I ended up going with an M-Audio Revelution 5.1, which is working very nicely under both Linux and Windows (slight problem with headphone output under Alsa, but I'm connecting via the speaker jack until it's corrected).
I can highly recommend this card for the Dock II PCI slot.
