Delayed packages in system update

During the last update session system update installed several new things (BIOS, power manager, etc). One of the other packages was Access connection 4.42. Possibly due to a mistake from my side this package is now marked as "delayed" (this translation may be wrong).

The installation file is already on my hard disk, but whenever I try to install delayed packages, system update starts working and in the end I'm just getting the statement "1 package delayed".

How can I change the "delayed" status?

Deleting the downloaded file results only in the fact that the download starts again, but no installation takes place.

Thanks in advance.

The correct term is "deferred."

I have the same problem, and I ended up downloading and installing Access Connections 4.42 manually. Yet, System Update still reports its status as "deferred."

My advice is to manually install the application and ignore the faulty status message. Typically, these kinds of anomalies clear up after a subsequent update of either the application in question or System Update itself.

I am having the same problem, and also updated manually.

The "deferred status" version 4.42 of Access Connections cannot be cleared. I tried uninstalling Access Connections, and it still wouldn't install through the System Update.
