Does anyone has an idea how to do it?
I searched and came up with people using the following tools:
1. ATITool
2. NHC
I tried using ATITool however each time I lowered the "Core" and "Mem" their settings did not change.
Can someone post s brief turtorial how to get your thinkpad underclocked or undervolted?

You can use either NHC or RMClock to undervolt the processor. However, Core 2 CPUs won't undervolt as low as the older Pentium M processors. What voltage is your T60 set to?

Voltage: 0.9500 V according to NHC

That may be as low as it goes on the base multiplier -- my 2.0 GHz Core 2 Duo is running at 0.937V at 6x.
Which CPU do you have? What temperatures are you seeing for the CPU and GPU at light usage?

light usage right now 53C for both cores. And i don't know how to check my GPU temp. ambient temp is pretty high in here thou. at night it gets to 49C.
I use 1.83 GHz Core 2 Duo and its at 6x as well.
