Deleting Client Security Solutions?

I have a just-bought new Z61M running XP Pro and the security chip is enabled. I now logon with a password via CSS, but I don't really need this level of security. Are there any unintended consequences if I just uninstall it via the Control Panel > Add/Remove programs tool? I just want the machine to fire up without me having to use a password. I can always use the XP Pro password feature if I change my mind.

I usually delete it from my machines with no problems.

Thanks for the reply. I removed it, as well as Access Connections. I would have thought the machine would boot faster after those changes, but there wasn't much improvement. Since then, I found some helpful info on changing some of the autorun (startup) Services and on using Tweak UI to disable splash screen and log on automatically, but the machine still boots slower than I would have expected from one with a 7,200 rpm HD and a 2 ghz Core Duo processor.
