Access connection problem
Access connection problem
Hey,
As the title suggest I have a problem with the ThinkVantage Access Connection app. I recently reinstalled windows and have had some problems getting Access connection to work correctly. I recently re-installed the driver to get the Fn+F5 to work. I am now able to turn off the wireless adapter via Fn+F5. However, when I connect to my wireless network it says the signal strength is zero percent! It is connected and the Windows app says the signal is very high. I am connected to the Internet, but Access Connection seems to think there is no connection . . .
Does anybody know how to solve this annoyances?
Thanks,
Rasmus

Hi,
I had exact same problem after I upgraded my wireless driver today. After spending couple of hours that's how I fixed it.
I uninstalled the wireless driver first after reboot I clicked cancel on window find a new hardware window. I then unistalled the Access Connection app and rebooted. After I installed the wireless driver I rebooted the window again and finally installed the Access Connection app.
Now everything works as it should.
