Hi there,

New to the forum but used it A LOT to reconfigure my new ThinkPad R61 which came without and installation disks. Thanks a lot everybody :D
One thing I still couldn't figure out. How to get the Fingerprint/Passowrd manager to fill the user/password fields in IE7.
I saw some posts since 2006 from the begining of IE7 talking about the tabbed browsing as a potential issue that was awaiting to be sorted out....nothin after that though.
Just to briefly describe the situation:
This is a 1 week old computer. All the sofware is the latest version (FS, Client security, etc etc). Everything was installed and re-installed. There is no firewall, and the IE7 has the Fingerprint Software addons enabled.
Please help,
Many thanks

If you go | Start (menu) | Programs | ThinkVantage | Client Security Solution | Password Manager is it enabled? If you click on Enhanced Security is the status activated?

Hey DAH

All is as you mentioned. The Enhanced Security is activated, the Password manager is activated, all are activated.
It doesn't do ANYTHING at all when I swipe my finger. It works fine for the Windows logon but not for the websites despite the fact that it asks me to save a certain username password when I enter it. And it appears in the Password manager - but it is still as a rock when I swipe my finger next time I want to login to the site.

Any other advice?
Thanks
