I recently tried to reconfigure my office and move my docking station (T60 with 2503 docking station) to a location that requires 15' cables to reach the two monitors I run (one DVI and one VGA). When I did this, I had significant losses in the signal quality for the VGA monitor and the DVI monitor flashed and would not display. Are the video outputs built into this docking station not adequate to push a signal 15 feet? Is there a PCI Express card I could put in my available slot with adequate output to power these monitors through 15 foot of cable? If I do install a new card, would I be better off running through DVI cables that VGA?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Ford

A quick search on Google brought up the following webpage that should be helpful. This is the first webpage I looked at.

As a follow up, I bought some high quality cables from BetterCables.com and everything is working fine now. The new cables cost $300 as opposed to the $120 for the lesser cables but the signal quality now is as good as it was with shorter cables.
Incidently, the 15 foot DVI-D cable has a little better picture quality than the 15 foot VGA cable. You would expect this from digital.
Lesson to be learned.....If you have video cables over 6', you need high quality cables.
