Seeking USB 2.0 PCMCIA adapter

#1 Post by mcblade » Tue Sep 11, 2007 9:53 am

Hello

I'm looking for a way to upgrade my usb 1.1 with a PCMCIA card..

Now I now that I can find a million on Ebay but thats not what I want.

My IBM A31p has a dobble PCMCIA Slot and i want a card that will completely disappear in the PCMCIA slot, just like the Ethernet card from Xircom.

If you have any idea were to find something like that .. It would be awesome !!

c ya max

I think what you really want is a USB 2.0, Type III PCMCIA card. I have never seen one of these. I kind of doubt if they exist.

BTW, the dongle on the above card does unplug, so you can leave the card plugged in without the dongle. However, dongles do sometimes have a tendancy to get lost...
