Brick, Software Installer says 4.21 is available on my system. I'm not sure I know how to find it (identify the package number that contains the software). Maybe somebody can help.

If you can use version 4.23 or 4.12 those are available for download. Cannot find 4.21 anywhere though.

Look in the following directory C:\Drivers\W2K\ACCON\ for a .XML file. Double-click on the file and look it over. It should have the following type of information in it. It should also have the original file download name listed under build id. You can search your hard drive for the original download file. If you do not have that, you can still ZIP the files in the folder and create a .ZIP file.

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes" ?>
<?tpi version="0314" ?>
- <build id="7MCN38WW">
- <tpi id="CONWIZ">
- <xrelease order="NOWIRELESS">
- <release id="NOWIRELESS">
- <title>
<gd tpipath="data/resolve[@method=LANGUAGE]">NAME</gd>
</title>
<version>4.42</version>
<lastversion id="CRITICAL" />
<setup>\setup.exe -S -SMS -f2x -keepginasetting</setup>
<uninstall>@REG\{7EB114D8-207F-45AE-BABD-1669715F2630}\{22B71A00-4DED-11D4-A5E5-0004AC564F43}</uninstall>
<os id="9X" />
<os id="NT">[2K,XP]</os>
</release>
</xrelease>
- <data>
- <resolve method="LANGUAGE" default="0009">
- <item id="0009">

Never mind, I got lucky (looked at dates and took a wild guess) and found it.

It's under C:\DRIVERS\79CN52WW.

This is what's inside that file:

Mod Edit: You need a warning in the subject line to post images, otherwise just post the link (preferred).

it looks like it's 11.3MB.

FWIW, I found A-C 4.21 on a Chinese website when I searched earlier this afternoon. Their download is also 11.3MB.

I typed "access connections 4.21" into Google and found a couple of downloads....they appear to be Chinese websites:

Thanks for the replies.

A few weeks ago I deleted the contents of C:DRIVERS (not the 2 text files) to get some disk space back. So 4.21 is probably not on my system....
I also found some chinese downloads but my chinese is not that great :wink: .....

Brick, I can email it to you, but you'll need to determine if your mail box/system will accept a 11MB file.

With Winzip, you can split large files to make them email friendly. Additionally, you will likely find that .zip files are not accepted on the receiving end. Just rename the .zip extension to something else and it will send fine. The receiver just needs to rename the file and put the .zip extension back on. I recommend sending instructions to the email recipient.

I use Winzip 8.1 SR-1, which is free (shareware).

Gom, now you tell me :lol:

I had to break the files into two pieces. I can't send an attachment over 10MB. I've got WinZip9.

If he can't receive, I can re-send and modify the .zip file as necessary.

Thx.

I have WinZip 11.0 installed, so opening it should not be a problem :) (modified or not)

Thanks.
