Subject says it all. Continues to show them even though they've been installed by System Update and manually.
Microsoft's QFEcheck shows that they are still installed too.
Anyone have any ideas whats going on?

There's a bug in Thinkvantage System Update and no, Microsoft Windows is not overwriting the updates.

Same problem on my T60 with system update 3.02.0007 (built on 2007-9-21)
There are two updates,
Intel Wireless LAN(11bgn, abg, bg) Version 11.01.0.API
ThinkPad UltraNav Driver, Version: 7.5.17.25
I checked both of them and download/install, system update shows package installed successfully and request restart.
After restart, I run system update and still, these two packages show in the to-be-updated list...

For me on my T60 with XP,
the two packages are ThinkVantage(TM) Fingerprint Software (for Microsoft(R) Windows(R) Vista (32-bit only), XP, and 2000 version 5.6.1.3419 <-- which is in an earlier version number!) and ThinkPad UltraNav Driver (version 7.5.17.25)
I've installed them for a few time and they are not showing up in the installation history yet (but keep showing up in the to-be-update list)
