Ultrabay to USB adapter/connector/cable (CNF InnerBay Zip)

My ThinkPad 770 (plus Docking Station) is now dead.
I wonder if I can use my Ultrabay II devices with a desktop PC, using an USB port.

Particularly, I want to continue using my backed up data on many Zip 100 cartridges.
The device is a CNF InnerBay Zip for IBM ThinkPad 770 series Notebook w/Ultra Bay II slot, Part # 1908, CNF S/N # 39929A62208, IOM: 8ECW12N4CV. This hardware box has the special Ultrabay II connector (the flat one).

Inside this device I found the following info: Model # Z100NB12.7, S/N: 8ECW12N4CV, P/N: 04097D00. It seems to be an Iomega device having a flexible adapter from a tiny internal connector to the external Ultrabay II flat connector.

Is there any adapter/connector/cable permiting the conexion between these devices to an USB port in a desktop PC, either from the internal tiny connector or the external Ultrabay II flat connector?

Thanks

Try ebay, I'm sure you'll find something, perhaps a caddy of some sort will do the trick.

I know this is a somewhat different direction from the OP, but it seems like a really complicated fix to solve a fairly simple problem. If you are in the process of replacing the 770 and looking to purchase something fairly new, why don't you get a zip drive that will work with that model?

I own 600s, T2x, T30/A31, all of which I have an internal Zip 250 drive that will take the Zip 100. These drives were all purchases off of ebay cheap (sub-$10 before shipping).

Oh, I almost forgot; if you go with a 600, you can use the 770's dock, by simply changing the Port Replicator/adapter on top of the dock.

Thank you schen.

I have already bought a very cheap, new USB Iomega Zip 250 MB drive on eBay.

I'm awaiting for tomorrow its arrival to my home.
