Buying new digital (mobile) projector

#1 Post by jamess » Wed Oct 17, 2007 10:58 am

Hey!

I am buying a new digital projector. I need a mobile device to take along my X61Tablet.
Does anyone have experience with Lenovo's 500 series? The light one?

I need it for occasional lectures about my expeditions, for business presentations and that's about it. nothing too serious or too intensive.

Does anyone have a good hint for me what I should be careful about. It will be my first own projector and the ones I used were all about to same at the first glance.

I'd be happy if you could post some suggestions and/or guidelines.

If you are going to get a DLP projector, don't get single-chip one. There is very disturbing "rainbow-effect" . You might not notice it but some other people do.

Does the (very) mobile 1.1 kgs Lenovo 500 have single chip or more than one. I know it's DLP, and that's about it.
