internet connection

Hello, I'm new to the forum and glad I found it.
My problem is after reinstalling windows 2k to my t23 I can't access the internet. I've tried everything I can think of but apparently don't know enough. Grateful for any help.

Some machines from that era and Windows 2000 didn't start up with the correct network driver. Check your network driver and get a new one if required. You might have to download the driver with a different machine and burn it to a CD so as to be able to install on the T23. ... JDH

Go to the Lenovo support page. In there is a box where you can enter your machine type. Do that, and the Network Drivers should be there for your OS. ... JDH

Or do you mean where do you find the info on your machine? I don't know how to do it on W2k, but on XP it's in Control Panel > System > Hardware tab > Device Manager > Network Adapter, double click the device you want to check and see what you've got on the Driver tab. Hope that helps . . .

I thank all of you for your help! It's up and running with xp now and I love it! Ran it on win2k for years no problems until I decided to upgrade. Thanks again.
